Greetings!
I was born in Dartford in the year that the ENIAC computer was switched off and grew up in Bexley and Henley-on-Thames but am now living in Newbury, Berkshire. Just for the record I've also lived in Nottingham, Birmingham and various parts of London. All these places are in England, just in case you were wondering.
I have been using email since about 1981 which, I realise, somewhat pre-dates the birth-days of many of the Wikipedians whose biogs I read before writing this.
Amongst other things, I'm interested in all aspects of aviation, history, psychology, Tanzania, innovation (I really must have a go at attempting to improve that entry), the human brain, memes and industrial archaeology. There's a theme emerging here, but I'm not quite sure what it is.

PS in real life I neither share Jerry's name nor many of his characteristics, but I rather envy his ability to jump between time streams and I once read most of his creator's, Michael Moorcock's, novels.
