Ijesa=Ife?
[edit]Is Ijesa just another term for Ife? Should it be included on this page? Thecurran 22:36, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- It isn't, they're two different states. Ijesa is one of the successor states to Ife and is located pretty close to it, I think in Ife's greater metropolitan area but it is ultimately a different state. PecuTheGreat (talk) 10:58, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]From the article on Niara Sudarkasa I cannot really see the special connection with Ife, apart from the fact that she is an Africanist and has written on Yoruba women. Martinvie (talk) 11:20, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
This section might mention Miles Davis's "Ife" from his album Big Fun. I think he mentions it in his autobiography. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.114.73.71 (talk) 17:51, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
