I'm not sure whether it's correct to talk of a ministry running from date1 to date2, but I couldn't think of a better choice. Can anyone either correct or reassure me? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 21:53, 4 Feb 2005 (UTC)
I don't know why User:Adam Carr reverted my edit, as he offered no explanation or comment. As it stood, the article was extremely obscure to anyone not actually looking for it, or following a link from more explanatory page; it needed a summary that explained what it was about. Indeed, Googling “Reid ministry” produces a first page dominated by articles on a U.S. evangelist. If I've made any errors (and I couldn't work out what to do with the floating link to the Free Trade Party), then please let me know, or correct them, but don't simply revert the whole page. The article is part of a series listing all Australian ministries since Federation. I agree it doesn't mean much to people who have not come to it via a link from the Australian Commonwealth ministries 1901-2004 article, but I can't imagine any other way people would come across it anyway. There's really no reason why it should be expanded, since it will only be of interest to specialists, who will know what it means. In any case, if you are going to change one of the series, you will have to change all of them, which will be a big job, and to no good purpose. Adam 10:54, 5 Feb 2005 (UTC)
