Orphaned page with all the content repeated in American Football League. Andris 19:14, May 21, 2004 (UTC)

  • That made my brain hurt because I didn't notice at first. This page is pure and utter nonsense. Look at it. The original AFL including the Brooklyn Dodgers, the Chicago Bulls, and the New York Yankees!? -- Cyrius|&#9998 20:21, May 21, 2004 (UTC)
    • Oops, I didn't notice that. But it might actually be true. The bio of Red Grange on Football Hall of Fame site [1] confirms New York Yankees. And a less authoritative source [2] confirms Chicago and Brooklyn. Andris 21:38, May 21, 2004 (UTC)
      • Having all three just seems too implausible to believe a Geocities site. -- Cyrius|&#9998 22:02, May 21, 2004 (UTC)
        • Let's try to find a trusted source, then. But Yankees are real (I trust Hall of Fame official site). Andris 22:52, May 21, 2004 (UTC)
  • The Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees WERE real football teams. The Bulls, I don't know about. RickK 02:24, 22 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. The reason why I proposed to delete this is because it's duplicated as a section in American Football League. It's important to find out whether it's real but that does not mean that the page should be kept, if it's true. Andris 22:30, May 22, 2004 (UTC)
    • Oh, there it is, down at the bottom. I hadn't seen it before. Delete as redundant. -- Cyrius|&#9998 02:11, May 25, 2004 (UTC)
