[edit]Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
Should Davis College (formerly Practical Bible College) be added to the education listing? Is it even accredited?
- I don't think it's accredited, but it is the oldest college in the area, which deserves mention 24.24.95.18 03:07, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
According to the FAQ's on its website "Davis College is accredited through both Middle States and ABHE accrediting agencies."
In residents and natives should people who only lived here as students attending Bighamton University really count? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.74.73.195 (talk) 03:11, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Broome County ny seal.gif
[edit]File:Broome County ny seal.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Jon Jones
[edit]UFC champion from Endicott (as are his brothers, one who plays in the NFL) and just dedicated his latest win to Broome County and asked for help with the flood situation there. I would add him but I want his name to be linked to his wiki and don't know how to do that. Somebody please add him. Just about the the most popular guy in the sport. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.58.202.45 (talk) 00:54, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
Handicapped parking
[edit]There are a couple and I mean only a couple handicapped parking meters on streets usually all taken. There are a few visitor parking spots between the 3 buildings. I try to find street parking first although it is very difficult for me to walk the distance. There is 1 yes 1 handicapped parking spot between the buildings occupied by a county truck. Interesting. I was put through the 3rd degree when I rang the bell to get into that lot. I have had permission to park there for years. Told as soon as I say I am handicapped I should be let in not made to feel less of a person because I am handicapped. After finally getting let in there were parking areas AND visitor areas open. I have photos of the handicapped spot. Who would you like to see them? Also I do not expect to go through this again or any other handicapped people. Please tell me what is going to be done? Someone needs to read up on handicapped rules and regulations. Erpedsrn (talk) 23:52, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
