The article claims that Jarvis the Younger commemorated the first anniversary of the death of Jarvis the Elder, in 1907. It also claims that Jarvis the Elder died in 1905. Something is wrong here. --Smack (talk) 04:43, 7 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"She died in a sanitarium, her medical bills paid by people in the floral and greeting card industries"

[edit]

The source for this claim (cited further down the page) is pretty clear that industry was paying the bill to keep Jarvis out of the way rather than out of the goodness of their hearts, which makes this wording pretty unfortunate. I'm not sure how best to fix it. 2A02:C7F:6C58:7A00:187E:2E3E:BB38:F37A (talk) 18:51, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Held in absentia?

[edit]

The article states "Jarvis held a memorial ceremony to honor her mother . . . " but "Jarvis did not attend this service". How did she manage to hold a service from hundreds of miles away? Should some other word be used? 50.210.149.122 (talk) 21:41, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
