Missing article 1787: Pennsylvania becomes the second state to ratify the U.S. Constitution.2600:1005:B12C:B6D:68E4:1404:9594:1D60 (talk) 09:25, 10 December 2020 (UTC) Pa.gov — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.223.10.77 (talk) 21:10, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
Moved births from article:
- 1969 - Andrey Spasibozhko, web engineer (Chelyabinsk, Russia)
- 1979 - Philipp Ka Hummer, creator, designer, artist
Both appear to exist, but also appear to be insignificant. If we start adding "web engineers" and web site designers unless they're really, really, really famous, we'll just clutter these date pages hopelessly. And the second one seems to be a minor Austrian artist who just happens to have a web page. Lupo 11:46, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Moved from article Nicholas II, Duke of Lorraine who seems to have been born December 6, 1609 [1]. Return him if you have a better reference. --Wetman 18:54, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
I removed the item about the decline in the Dow on Dec 12, 1914. This error is discussed in The Numbers Guy blog at the Wall Street Journal. He specifically refers to the error on this page and two others which had already been corrected.

Hurricane Sandy concert
[edit]There is no reason under WP:DOY that this concert should be listed as an event on this page. It has no long term significance. It's been added and removed a couple of times and it should remain excluded. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:52, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
I think reference of Belo Horizonte needs to be changed
[edit]For 1897 it says: Belo Horizonte, the first planned city in Brazil, is founded.
On the Belo Horizonte Wikipedia page states that Belo Horizonte is actually the second planned city in Brazil. The first one, Teresina, is founded in the 1850s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belo_Horizonte#History I'm not familiar neither with Brazilian history nor this category so I might have missed the point: I felt unsure to do the change myself. But I think it will have more sense to say: Belo Horizonte, the second planned city in Brazil, is founded. Jpardopardo (talk) 21:04, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, not Feast of the Apparition
[edit]The RC documents I can find all say Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, not Feast of the Apparition of OL of G. I'll change it unless someone has an authoritative source. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 14:55, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
