What is Project Candlelight?

Project Candlelight is a sphere project lead by Akir, known here as FirstAkir.

Goal

The Goal of Project Candlelight is to make a Shining Force style video game without reusing any Sega or Camelot Software Planning materials. Our job is to make a quality video game that not only matches the Shining Force Series, but excells it.

Updates

Right now, I am in the process of deciding weather or not we are going to switch to RPG Development Studio instead of sphere. Sphere is nice and all, but it's too dificult to program for (you ever tried Java? it's hell.). RPGds has a few little graphical ideals that make it interesting. Take for example that it's a 3D environment set to run 2D ideals, which is great because it allows scaling and rotation. great for those origional Shining Force II cringing effects. -Akir
